Underway signups stuck after Meta ads

We've gotta fix this bug. Every time we start this, I don't know if you can see, but I'm frozen for a few seconds. Anyway, guys, I'm just gonna do an episode. I'm just being super transparent because I'm not happy, not going very well. Um, you can easi- like I could easily come on here and be like, "Hey, look how many signups have come through." But the reality is it's dire, terrible, and I know maybe on previous episodes, this is a habit of mine. On a previous episode, I said this, and I didn't follow through. Anyway, what I'm trying to say here, guys, is on a previous episode, I said I ran through things like I tested the flow myself, right? Because we're running ads, so I was like, "I'll go on the landing page. I'll pretend I'm a prospect. I'll come through the funnel." But I was short-sighted, like I didn't So stupid. I came through the funnel, but I didn't actually try everything. I also-- 'cause I basically what I did was think I went through the landing pa- so I went, saw the ad, saw the landing page, left my email, browsed everything really quick, and then just, "Okay, that worked." How, how stupid was that? So anyway, today, because I, it's like I've got signups through the night and I'm like, "That's cool." But then I go into them and I look and I'm like, all of them getting stuck and they're not even far into the app. They're not using it. I'm like, "What?" Okay, like this is just something I gotta learn from, right? New experiences, learn from it. So I thought, "Right, I'm gonna go through it myself." And it's quite obvious. Like if you-- I put myself in their shoes and just looked at Underway. Firstly, I was looking at it through the mobile. I, I'm on the laptop all the time like this. It's so much easier to grasp everything on the laptop. It's spaced out, it's like that. But most people who come across this is, are they gonna be on their phone? And so looking at it through that lens was just so much more different. And then I looked at it through the lens of, okay, I don't know what Underway is. I've just seen an ad and I'm like, "Oh, that's, that sounds cool." Click on it. And then I was overwhelmed, really. My fiancé said the same, and it was enlightening really. Like, I could look at things through the lens of like, I don't know what this is. Why is this telling me this? There's actually so much going on, and it's cool because Underway has so many functions. Like it's literally so good, guys. But that's all noise. That's just words. Reality is, for anyone coming on, and I'm a testament to this, whenever I use something new, a new bit of software, if you overcomplicate things, I'm gone. See you later. Probably not gonna speak to me again. And so that's what it was like. So I'm spending some time now just going through the app and trying to like literally take things away and just hide them away. Do you know what I mean? Like connections, how they work, like all the little bits. Fuck right off, you know? So yeah, just, just giving it to you straight, guys.
