How it works

Get your link
Press the button above. An underway account gets its link at once; anyone else gets it by email from Whop, which also opens a free Whop account for the payout if you do not have one.

Send a founder
Someone who keeps meaning to document their build and never does. Your link remembers you for thirty days, whichever page they read first, and they get three episodes free with no card, the same as everyone.

Get paid
When they subscribe, a share of every payment they make lands in your Whop balance thirty days after it clears, and withdraws to a bank account. It keeps coming for as long as they stay.

A share of every payment, not only the first. Founder and Series are where most founders land, so they pay the most. Company Record is set up on a call with us, so it is outside the programme.

The rules
Say what it does. Send people who would use it.

Describe underway honestly: a three-minute interview every evening becomes a finished episode, numbered, in order. Three episodes free, no card.

Send founders, indie hackers, agency owners, people opening a shop: anyone building something who means to document it. Not general content creators, and not people looking for a video editor.

Speak from your own use of it if you have one. Do not promise features that are not on the site, and do not describe it as a clip tool or an editor.

No paid ads on the word underway or on our name, no coupon or deal sites, no lists that did not ask, and no using your own link to pay for your own membership.

A refund inside the thirty-day hold cancels the commission for that payment. Rates can change; referrals already made keep the rate they were made at.

Affiliates need a Whop account to be paid, which is free, and must be eighteen or over. Whop's earnings terms apply.
Questions
- Do I need to be an underway member?
- No. Members find their link on the Account tab; anyone else gets it from the button above. The rates are the same.
- Where does the money go?
- Into your Whop balance, thirty days after each payment clears, then out to a bank account, PayPal or Coinbase. Whop handles the payout, not us.
- What if they arrive on underway.life rather than on Whop?
- Your link can point at any page here. We remember who sent them for thirty days and pass it to checkout, so the referral counts wherever they read first.
- Can I have a promo code for my audience?
- Ask us at hello@underway.life. A code goes in the box at checkout and works alongside your link.
- Is there a limit?
- No cap on referrals or on earnings, and no minimum to start.
