Why it exists
Everyone means to document the journey. Almost nobody does.
Four things get in the way: knowing what to say, setting up a camera, filming it, and editing it.
So a year later, when you want to show someone how it started, there is nothing to show. Build in public content, made for you. Underway reads your day, asks you about it out loud, and turns your answers into a short finished video or podcast. No editing. It exists so today actually gets recorded.

Underway keeps a private memory of everything you've said: what you planned for Friday, who the people are, what keeps coming up. Each interview picks up where the last one stopped. You can read, correct or delete it.

The ones people ask first.
Do I have to be on camera?
No. Answer with just your voice and the episode becomes a podcast instead. Plenty of people start that way and try the camera later.
What if I miss a day?
Nothing. Episodes count up one by one, not by date, so there is no gap. Your streak only counts the days you picked.
How long does it take?
As long as you pick: one question for each thing you choose, whenever suits you, and it stops after the last. The episode is ready a few minutes later, with nothing to do unless you want to remove a line.
What does it connect to?
Your calendar, GitHub, meeting notes, Stripe, newsletter and anything you forward to its inbox, so it knows what to ask. Nobody else's voice from a meeting is ever in your episodes.

On your phone or computer, backed up to your account when you sign in. Download or delete everything any time.
Do I have to post publicly?
No. A series can be public, private, or private with the good ones posted. Nothing goes out unless you send it. Most people start private.
