Podcast delay and background noise

What's up everyone God I look pale don't I And I'm in Vegas guys It's 7 30 AM in the morning I wonder if you're going to be able to see this Let's have a look Oh yeah It's pretty cool Anyway guys I was on the plane yesterday and we recorded a podcast because that was really the only thing I could do And I was like you know what It'd be quite cool to test this out right Test the ability of the podcast to resolve background noise and the plane noise and people talking And I was like crouched down and just talking like this And I just listened back to it now It's not good There's a few things that I need to clean up with podcasts I think it works generally The fact that you can literally just talk to it it can give you talk back to you like humans really good But I'm noticing that it's really doesn't kick in for a while And if I'm a founder if I'm anyone using it I'd be semi thinking what's going on why it's not working And it kicks in after like four or five seconds And you're like whoa At least on the last one I felt like it repeated itself from the one before so I asked it And also one thing I realized is it seems to be really sensitive It picks up all the sound So it starts recording straight away even though it hasn't jumped in and spoken And it's picking up all the background noise So what happens is when it goes to edit it to remove silences and stuff that's not actually silenced It's keeping it in So when I play it back it's like I'm waiting four or five seconds for it to start That's that You might be wondering it's so funny because I'm going to put this out Well by the time I put this video out there it's going to be way past the time of actually why what I was in Vegas for But I'm in Vegas for Cole's wedding Cole's the owner of Next Growth the other the main work I do But it's super weird being PST I literally got to bed super late woke up after like four hours woke up at like 5 30 So today we're going to go it's turning into a travel vlog isn't it But today I don't know what we're going to do but I'm going to work on the podcast I'm also going to work on this whole I can't remember what I mentioned fully on the podcast but the integration of either Muse or even Grokbot something like that Because at the end of the day when I first started this I looked into okay we'll connect to Gmail connect like X Twitter There's a few others like main ones I wanted to do but they're all paid and some of them are like really expensive Like Gmail connecting directly to Gmail is highly expensive And I just realized like if you connect like your Grok or your Muse or whatever you don't need to create an integration because they're just logging in as you So it kind of sidesteps all that So having an underway assistant that's in there because it's already given you context on your day right It's already given you everything to know and understand And it's kind of clever as well You can chat to it you can ask it what have I done and you can talk to it But having it also outside the website having it in your day to day like Slack where you can add it into your channel you can talk to it or into your WhatsApp and talk to it I think that's gonna be a really good way of making it more seamless in terms of adding it into your day to day Because at the end of the day what stops people using things like this is friction and how far it is outside of their day to day I know I'm someone like him so I have a routine of habits and to get into those habits with a new one it's super difficult to do But yeah peace See ya
