Three App Store rejections

Guys we're back You guys haven't been introduced yet have you Bear Can you say hello Who's that there Who's there Can you say hello No here Anyway guys that's Bear We're having a nightmare guys We've submitted to the App Store three times now Three failures It's annoying Bear isn't it And do you know what I totally understand Apple but here's where I'm coming from Here's where I'm coming from Anyway the App Store take what Like I think it's 15 30 I can't remember But anyway they take a revenue cut right And it's just it's not that I'm being selfish but I'm just like I don't want them to do it So I tried to make like all the payments just to be honest like I'm using the app right now right I'm using its function every day and I'm just using my laptop And it's like I would imagine most I could be bias here I'd imagine most founders builders guys at work on their laptops a lot And so I was like do you know what All the payments I'll do on if you want to buy it you want to do anything like that everything's on the website And the app I was just going to use as like Hey you know if you're on the move or you just want to film like this like it's that function but it doesn't have all the functions And then Apple went through it and we're like Oh there's a way of buying you can click on this and it opens up a web browser on the phone and you That should go to us like basically making that case And I'm like I can't even be bothered arguing I don't want to argue with Apple I'm like OK guys let's make this easy All the payments can be taken on the phone as well Take your cut All I want is an app on the App Store Let's just go So we're making those changes today Second topic of today is I just got off an hour call with X X ads specifically Really good like great service They showed me some real cool things I really like the fact that you get an account manager straight away Before I've spent money before I've spent a certain amount of money you get an account manager He helps you He goes through it with you He recommends what to do You've got that person And so now we're going to be looking to launch and he's going to show me the best ways of doing things and what I should start with I think that's really good because I'm aware of how Meta does things Google And I tried ChatGPT ads yesterday and it just spent double the amount in I put a daily amount I want to spend It just spent double in like 20 minutes So I'm like I'm not doing that again I do think sometimes like if you're going to have these policies or these ways of working like an ads manager and you want regular people who get a startup or you want people to advertise you got me to sign up on the website I was like do you know what I'll try ChatGPT ads Let's just see how it goes What's the worst that can happen I'll tell you what the worst that can happen is spending your whole double your budget in 20 minutes with nothing in return So yeah that was ridiculous But yeah so we're going to focus on x ads I think that's probably where a lot of the audience is to be honest and we'll see how it goes and my parents are coming around today so I'm filming this early getting this out early and maybe yeah let's go let's go
