Launching Underway after Loom failed

What is up everyone So do you know what's funny I wanna do this launch video for my Twits Mostly my Twitter following because the majority of people who probably watching this are my know me as Clothes Unpaid And my profile is gonna morph into this bit of software that I'm gonna talk to you guys about And this is basically an explanation of it But what's kind of funny is I was just gonna record a loom and kind of explain what I'm doing right now and why and what this tech is And looms just playing up It's so weird It's like you click on record share your screen And then when you watch it back it's just not I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but it just doesn't even show your face Even though I had that on my screen when I was recording But what's ironic is the best bit of tech then because loom wasn't working was actually this what I'm creating now which is using my own tech to do this exact job But I'm not making another loom put it that way But yeah the reason I'm doing this is because I'm gonna change my whole Twitter and probably my Instagram and YouTube into this underway app profile right now And I want people who do know me and they're probably gonna click on my profile because they won't see Clothes Unpaid They'll be like wait a minute who I'm following this new underway thing Like what is it And you'll see this And it's kind of weird I'm gonna share my screen and walk you guys kind of through it here It is kind of self explanatory in a way but I know my audience and a lot of the people I follow and the people who follow me who I see every day I genuinely think that this is going to be a really great piece of tech For a lot of you kind of business owners and even even if you're just in sales or marketing run your own business It's it's going to be really really helpful And the reason I made this underway live is because Well I face these issues myself and I want it I run them through with you And I do see everyday people facing these issues And it's more so like I've recently Built myself an app right and I got part way through it Well Quite a large way through it and I got to that point where i'm gonna go live and i'm gonna go You know market it and start doing content and stuff like that and Man there's so many frictions There's so many things stopping me from doing it Like setting up your camera what you're gonna say being consistent lies making hooks Like there's so many things that would kind of stop me I'm not bothered about being on camera It's natural to me But the friction the little bits of friction that you face and founders face to make that happen I just thought to myself like wouldn't it be great if you could just like sit down in front of your screen on your phone or even on your laptop or your mic and and just Something would interview you like about your day that knows your day and it would take it and edit it and then post it and you just You know take all that friction away and that's what underway is You know and and kind of since i've come up with that I was amazed at No one really grasping that market you know and i'm not super I think lots of people will but I also think i've created something pretty unique here You know and I I do see daily lots of founders And maybe it's biased because i'm now thinking on this level but like lots of founders and business people now do go like oh they've created something like a mature business It's doing really well it's successful And they look back and think man wouldn't that be cool if I just like documented that whole process And they didn't you know And Underway is for that And it's like and it just removes all of that for you It just it knows your day It connects to your email to your GitHub to your Zoom to your Fathom like to anything you can think of It will learn and know your day It connects to your Warp Like everything And so I say at the end of the day because that's when I do it generally but at any point in the day it will know what you've done what you've achieved what you're thinking about It has a knowledge base It learns from you And you can just click record episode and you can talk It will give you suggested topics You can talk through what you want And instead of thinking of like it will then edit it and create a bit of content that goes either in your vault which is private because you might want to launch it later or it goes into your public directory where people can find you building in public And you can even charge people to see that you know So that's the idea And I want to get away from competing with any of the editing apps because this is not about editing Like I want to move away from you know because lots of founders and builders and people it's not we don't care for the social media of oh you've got to find the right hook Just keep doing loads of different hooks and see what works No we want to document and we don't want to have to think about that We want to be able to post to maybe you don't have an audience that way but you want to post without thinking and feeling about oh do how many likes how many reviews how many shares Let's take all that off the table you know and instead in six months one year's time You can look back and go Hey I am so fucking happy I Documented that whole process you know and what better thing to for an investor to say what better way for Eventually customers to see the initial days and like the video says on my website when you if you go down here like Imagine Steve watching Steve Jobs build Apple from day one like that stuff is so valuable and today's builders on underway Will be the next generation of founders who will have documentaries about what they did because that footage will be on underway So I'm gonna start tweeting I'm gonna start doing content around this I'm gonna I'm documenting my whole build and everything that happens So if you know me as closed and paid I'm not gone I'm still my main stuff and everything I do is in sales and marketing still I still work with next growth Still managing lots of offers I don't think I'm ever gonna move away from that but at the same time I've built underway
