Argos and the landing page

All right, folks, we're back. I think it's episode nine. Um, so the topic I wanna discuss, which is, did I write it here? Take me through then and now. Yeah, so then and now. So overnight, I was thinking about the, the episodes that I've created, and I guess some of them are visual, but a lot of them, and I would imagine most founders would feel this, you sign up and a lot of it is obviously you may be filming in the evening and you're just answering questions. And I asked myself, right, okay, imagine Bezos, you get to see him build Amazon from day one. You would wanna hear from him in the evening, his thoughts, recollections, what he's done, what, you know, all these things. But you'd also wanna see visually what's he been doing. Now, obviously in today's day and age it's a bit different 'cause, uh, you can do so much more. Maybe he did this just in a more manual way. But anyway, the point is, the visual aspect of what someone does and builds on their screen, on their laptop, on their computer is very important. And the, the episodes, if you do them in the evening, it's very just retrospective. They, "Oh, I've worked on this and I've worked on that." Now you can share your screen, but I thought, for example, my landing page over the course of five to seven days, I believe, has gone through so many changes, um, for important reasons, you know? And I just thought to myself, in fact, I can't... I have no way to basically show you guys, "Look, here's where it started. This is day one, and then six months' time, like, here's where, what it looks like now." And I... There's probably more aspects of a business come, like, as well as showing a landing page. Landing page is just one aspect. Your website, one aspect of something that changes over time. There's probably a lot more But I thought the aspect of being able to record those changes autonomously is important, you know? And I wanna take that-- I wanna make it automatic so that founders and whoever else is using it don't have to think about that, right? So I'm gonna share my screen and show you how I've kind of done that. So, ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch, let's look at this tab. Um, okay, so this is the website actually. So every website right now, I created a new connection first. So if you click in Connections in Account, one thing you'll see is... Can I remember what it is? Argos. Okay. So your page is photographed once a day and compared with the last one, the days it looked different, landing your day context as online. So it picks it up cleverly. It knows you've made that change. It know how is that, how that visually changes, and then you can create an episode just on that if you want. You know, it could be a major change, so it's something you could develop a topic around. So Argos is something I didn't know about, found out about it today. It's really cool. And I've now created a new kind of sign-up flow. So when founders do sign up, it does kind of prompt them to connect Argos because I know people would love to be able to look back and go, "Okay, I'm glad I connected it 'cause now I can see this side-by-side comparison and show the development." So not only that, so now there is a tab at the top called Changes, and this is where it tracks it. So if I click on that, you'll see it's basically photographed It's the first photograph beside the latest one. So, 'cause I started it today, the left and the right is the same. But over time, as I track changes, you'll see all the new things on the right. So you've got the blog page and the changes, the build in public change, the featured launch pages, the homepage, right? So really cool. And like you can click on them, right? And, and kind of side by side see the change, which is super cool. Um, and then if I go on this other tab, I wonder if you can... You can... I'll share this tab instead. Yes. Perfect. So, no, not this one, guys. I don't think you can see anything. Anyway, share this tab. So I, I just built this one. This is not something everyone gets. I just built this to show you guys what it did look at the start versus now. And if you do collect, uh, connect Argos, you'd be able to kind of do this anyway. But I, I just wanted to show this. This is, on the left, is basically my 30th of August, which is like, what? Seven days ago, a week. This is how it kind of got spat out first. Very simple, no imagery. It's really just a block of text, you know. Um, and on the right is how it looks now with videos, lots of imagery. It's really kind of ho- hone in on, on the selling aspect and the solution aspect. Um, you can see the changes I've made. Now, I won't, I won't go through all of the changes and why I made them, but I think it's pretty cool that you can see that side-by-side comparison now. Um, so if I stop sharing this and go back to here. Cool. We're back in the room. So yeah, let's s- stop sharing.
