The video I nearly bought

all right ladies and gents it is 10 14 p m on the 4th of September and I am not feeling good I got a sore throat not eating well not eat drinking enough water overload on caffeine you know it but today's been productive what have I done on top for the past yeah so it went like this I was in discussion with a friend of mine a videographer he actually creates videos kind of like motion graphic stuff and he's done that a lot with SAS company so I spoke to him we're booking in to do a launch video and he charges a hefty fee but he does really good work so I was booking that in for next week and I did think to myself hmm I really haven't tried to use cloud or tragedy or anything to make explain a video so I'll give it a go now bearing in mind I had tried this maybe a few months ago maybe and I just got to a point I was just annoying there was friction and I was like you know it's not quite where I need it I'd rather pay make it easier so today I gave it a go and I'm actually really happy with it like it's making me think maybe I don't need to spend so much to get an explainer video because this really does it quote and it was made for quote unquote free you know so I'm gonna let you guys decide even though when this does come out and you do watch it it's gonna be long gone but I think I did a pretty good job so hopefully you see my screen let's go to here yeah okay cool so the website now when you go to it you'll see two videos it's slightly different on mobile as it is to desktop on mobile this kind of Template thumbnail here of a mobile is actually set under the fold right It's the second thing you see and when it's under the fold it's kind of wasted space So what I did is use the template to place a video in but obviously on the desktop now You're gonna see it like this So the first video here is me It's my voice I created this It's my voiceover but Animation by cloud code So let's just watch this I'm gonna speed it up a tiny bit You You You So I'm actually I am actually pretty happy with that I think it hits on the selling points at least most of them that I want to hit on the emotion and the solution And I think that end do it for a year and you own you literally own the first hand record of how your company was built Like so many people don't have that and they look back wishing they did It's like I would guess it's like having a child and just not taking photos and videos of your child so you can look back And then when they're older you're like oh they've grown up and now I just don't have all of that kind of those memories And I really feel like this gives people that ability to do it to take the fiction away and to own something own an asset This may be maybe it increases the value of your company when you do exit Maybe Netflix do come in knocking at your door because they can already see the building of it They can actually you might even have editors come to you and say hey can I take the footage and create a documentary These are all things that are coming up So or at least in my mind And I also know that this space is just not I just know it's big It's a large space like the building public space I was looking on Reddit today looking at blogs and IndieHack and news things like that And then it's obviously a big space And it's just like I think builders quote unquote are just not marketers and they're not they're not sales and marketing right And I'm kind of like I've been in sales and market for many many years I've done films TV ads And I was obviously never a builder but the way AI has been has grown I've just it's given me the tools to be able to become a builder So now I've got all of these skills and I just realized the friction there The friction applied to me even though I'm fine creating content right So and I just I was looking at competitors today and I just think no one is really capturing the market properly And the competitors are actually really nothing really similar to what I'm doing Um and I also know that because when I was doing some kind of keyword research today it's like the search terms that I would want to go after a really low competition which is really good right So anyway that's the explainer video And then I want to show you this video which is more like uh imagine watching Steve Jobs build Apple from the first day nobody found it So this is more of an impact shot to grasp what we're kind of doing here So I'll show you this None of it existed before you started So build now start tonight But yeah I think that kind of grasps it as well I also
