Rebuilding after watching Episode 0

Very good question So the whole point of this app or underway in itself is that you document the whole build process from day zero if you can And that means including and documenting things that are not perfect things that go wrong Because it's really those things that no founders really share at all And yesterday was day zero and it was the first day that I recorded a full episode And episode zero for everyone on underway is I believe six to nine questions And it's very much an interview style where underway is really going to ask you a bunch of questions to set a foundation And everything from there builds on itself And I remember saying I'm going to post this or I'm going to see how it comes out And even if it doesn't come out well if it doesn't edit well if it looks really sloppy if it's bad jump cuts I'm still going to post it And I did And really I woke up to a video that I was just not happy with The end product was just not something that I had envisioned for this product in particular But that's the whole point of underway itself right So I spent the whole day kind of I spent the whole morning rethinking how I want to position underway Because what was actually wrong about it was the fact that it wasn't the footage that was bad It was more so the whole editing process So looking at my answers AI kind of assessing itself what was good what was bad what should be removed So there were things that was really good about it It did remove silences very well It did remove ums and ahs and things But it also added real weird jump cuts it kind of removed random words it kind of repeated words And I put myself in the shoes of any of the founder using this And immediately I just thought people are gonna give up if this happens People will discard it straight away And so I immediately just sat on Claude Code for a number of hours Fable 5 1 which came out today and kind of repositioned the app and kind of turned it away from editing So really now what comes out on the other side is just a really simple flow of what you spoke about It's gonna just put it all together in one It's gonna remove silences but really that's it So instead of founders getting onto that train of trying to make things perfect and having to sit and think and fiddle around with it it's not about that at all It's really about just speaking your thoughts keeping the ums and the nahs making it really genuine really natural not really concerning yourself with anything else and just pressing render going to bed going to sleep waking up and posting it And pretty much today that's what I've made Underway do
