Cannot show the setup screen

So I'm going to show you me setting up an episode how simple it is and how it kind of works Usually and in my head I'm going to find lots of bugs But that's what it's like building So if we go on a different tab here So what you can see is this is the Today tab OK so I'm going to walk you through some of the things So I've already recorded one episode today which is why you can see Today Watch Episode 2 And I've actually literally just pushed and built the ability for you to record multiple of these a day I think my goal is for founders to be able to just be consistent and just keep adding to your directory So you build up that big library of you building in public and the whole process I think one a day is pretty good But at the same time I do know as a builder when you're building something you get these moments of inspiration And it's already becoming addictive for me because I just thought of something And I was like do you know what Instead of thinking about it and recording like a snippet for tonight why not just record another episode in it So I'm going to show you how that's done So we click on Today as a tab So I can watch that one back or I can fill another So let's just walk through what's kind of below here as well So I create this Freestyle button I might actually remove this at some point But Freestyle is basically just a voice note And I might call it something else But the reason I create this voice note button on Freestyle is because as you're going through your whole day and you're making pushes you're in meetings you've got emails and Slack and everything's going on you get those moments of inspiration where you're like oh tonight on the episode I wanna talk about this or I wanna remember this So what you can do is you can click freestyle and it's just like a voice note on WhatsApp or whatever you use and you record as long as you want and it will just basically save that as context for tonight's episode So when you come back and you click create episode or film one it'll have that in its kind of memory database and it will give you suggestions on what the questions could be or what the topic could be right Here's tonight's context okay Now context is basically it's memory and how it's building tonight's kind of database and questions and things like that So context can be derived from I've got so many ways it can get context So it's like connects to many things like your Git obviously and it can see which what you've pushed today your emails meetings recordings Stripe Warping it can see your first customer joining So there's so many ways for it to build this context of what you're doing through the day so that the interviewer can cleverly ask you about these things as it goes like a human conversation so that you don't have to think about that whole process of creating content It's just sit there and answer So it not only connects with these different bits of software through API most of them but it also does screenshots So you can go oh I've just built this and created this screen or this graphic and these logos So you can take a screenshot of those and it will take that as context You can do voice notes You can do video capture There's so many things that you can connect to And the context will come up here And already below you can see it's kind of reading that again in context and just giving me options for like is this worth an episode So here's a topic Does the new render flow hold You spend hours in Cloud Code turning underway away from editing towards silences out mms kept press play OK so it might not make much sense to you but it was an important part And I could do a whole episode on it finishing the walkthrough that cut off marketing the app you built with your fiancee where the founders come back to record again So really good topics I don't have to click any of these by the way This is just your option So if I say click and film another here's what will happen OK so I'm already doing this I'm already recording it which is why you see this You see it says set up your shot So unfortunately I can't even show you So this is the funny thing about building in public and these kind of videos is it's not even about perfection It's not about retakes It's not about I wanted to move away from editing and making it fiddly It should just be real genuine content And you know what If things don't work and things slip up it's still there I think that's the whole point of it So I basically set this episode up to record setting up an episode the whole process But the thing is because I'm actually in the process right now of setting up an episode I can't show you Fucking hell that was a fly Hilarious I can't actually show you the screen that it would show you before here I can kind of describe it that you would start to see you would decide whether it's video or whether it's audio because sometimes you might be on the move you might not be able to do a video you might just be able to do a podcast answer questions via audio so you can choose that You can choose the video kind of portrait or landscape you can choose whether it's kind of a short or a longer interview Then you can really go into the topic you can give it a topic because you know what you want to be asked about You can ask it to think of topics from what you've done today You can ask it to look at a transcript There's so many ways for it to come up with what we're gonna speak about And unfortunately I can't show you but what I might do obviously I can show you this One thing it does ask you actually when you're setting up guys is that one of the options is a walkthrough which is this where you share your screen and just walk through what you've been doing right So I click that and it gives you the topic So I put in you know setting up an episode for underway So once I've done that this is literally what the next page is so I can explain that So it gave me a bunch of questions that it could ask me in this walkthrough I actually deleted all of them and just left it with this first one which is show me setting up an episode What is it and where does it stand right now So what happens is I shared my screen and that asks me like an actual robot AI asks me in a really realistic human voice it asks me so I can naturally kind of answer to it right So that's what you're seeing here Obviously you turn the camera on like this It says looks good start It will tell lighting looks good here so it will tell you if the lighting's off whatever Some explanation here I can actually add in more questions here Right I can remove that And then looks good start and it will start recording Right and when I finish this what I'll do is I'll see if I can add in I can't remember if I added disability I might see if I can add in Screenshots to episodes or snippets that have already like an to an episode that's already been done You know that way I can show you What that screen I couldn't show you would look like Because one function I did create is your the ability to take an episode that you've just recorded and basically add to it So if you've already done episode 2 you can create kind of an add on to it So I might do that on this one Let's see
