The sixth build to Apple

I'm on my sixth build submitted to Apple, because every time I go through the app on TestFlight myself I find something missing or changed compared to the web app. The patent attorney said he'd call back in the afternoon after speaking to his colleague and didn't. I did get the international trademark submitted through the Madrid system, paid in Swiss francs, and I'm still weighing up whether the patent is worth the money. Today is another submission to the App Store, and then I want five to ten people using it for free to see what breaks.

What's up ladies and gents Tell you what it's September 9th 11th and I'm just jumping on because I'm frustrated really frustrated A few things and look this is I guess this is just part of building but I submit submitting my app to Apple I guess and it gives you something like look I'm talking I'm not technical but you submit it gives you something called test flight where you can like use download your app to the phone before it goes on so then I think you can then use it and then Apple wants some kind of like video of you going through certain things and showing the features right so obviously I did that first but I sent a video where it was the simulator doing it obviously easier but not accepted and every time I think I've been through five builds so what happens is like it obviously wasn't accepted so then I go back to it and I have to do it myself so I'm then working through the app and I'm like oh my god like every time you think you have got your app to where it needs to be at least in line with the web side of things you know because at the end of the day I put a rule in with with Claude or ChatGPT I can't remember but I put a rule in you know if we ever add any features or if we ever create something new we have to always check the code base against the web the web app and the mobile app and I thought we were doing that and I'm sure it was but anyway every time I keep looking my phone and looking in the app it's like something is not there something's behind something's changed And then once you realize that it's like you have to go through a whole new build It creates a new build It submits it to Apple Apple puts I think Apple puts it on test flight and then you get it again And honestly I'm I'm through five and it's going through the sixth one So it's so frustrating Um so that's that but on the good let's say the brighter side of things Yesterday I think I said that the patent attorney when we went back and forth and like I spoke about the idea at length with him and like he was I think I said he was excited Like he was like this is really good fucking idea you know But one thing about me is I like to just work fast I like to go boom boom Like I have urgency I try not to have urgency with everything in 10 And one thing I've just realized is I might this might be this might not this sounds like directed at him but I'm sure it's just the case Not everyone has the same urgency and everyone wants to work on your stuff Like do you know what I mean You I have a hundred percent care about it and that's normal But what I'm saying is when these kinds of little things annoy me when he calls me he's like Oh this is great blah blah blah Okay I'm going to go and speak to my colleague and do this I'm going to call back in the afternoon I trust people in their word and he didn't call me So he might call today I'm not sure but that kind of stuff really annoys me Um so there's that I did say on the bright side of things didn't I That's not the bright side The bright side is I did submit also my trademark internationally through It's weird Cause it's called something like the Madrid something but you pay in Swiss franc super weird but anyway At the end of the day I know I'm gonna have a large international audience especially maybe the U S A lot of my colleagues and friends are in the U S so I do wanna kind of protect myself over there And there's other things you can protect yourself with not just patents right So like obviously you got trademarks on both sides you got copyright you got image rights stuff like that And so I'm gonna be doing all of that anyway The patent side of things is a whole new world like might not end up going through it's a lot of money You can pay a lot of money also and not end up getting any protection So you know these are the things I'm weighing up but today's all about a new submission to the App Store getting the phone and the mobile app exactly where it is on the web submitting to the App Store And I'm just keen I'm eager to launch not like in a not a proper launch but just like get it out in the public Get my videos and these videos out to the public drip in and get users not necessarily full paid users Like I just need I'd like like five to 10 people using it maybe for free and like just all working together see how it works see what people do like what they don't like what they want to what they would add what bugs especially And then I'll think about launch Yeah over and out
