Add underway to the AI app you already talk to. It can interview you about your day in the chat, set up your next recording so underway opens ready to film, and find the episodes you’ve made.

Both are remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP. The second asks you to sign in to underway and allow the app before it does anything.
How to add it
- Claude. Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector. Paste one of the addresses above. With the second, Claude opens underway to ask you to allow it.
- ChatGPT. Settings, then Apps and Connectors, then Create (developer mode). Paste an address, and choose OAuth for the signed-in one.
- Anything else that speaks MCP. Point it at an address. The signed-in one answers without a token with a 401 that says where to sign in, so a client that follows the MCP sign-in steps finds its own way.
Then say “interview me about my day” or “set up a ten-minute podcast about the launch”.
What it can do
underway_debrief
A short interview about your day, one question at a time, the way underway asks on camera. At the end you get your day back in your own words and a link to film it.
underway_set_up_recording
Settles how long, camera or podcast, portrait or landscape, questions or just talking, and what it’s about, then hands you a link that opens underway set up that way.
underway_my_episodesSIGNED IN
Lists your finished episodes, newest first: number, name, the date you made it and a link to open it.
What it never does
Record, publish, post, delete, or see your footage. Filming always happens in underway.
Apps you’ve connected
Sign in to see the apps you’ve allowed and disconnect any of them.
A sign-in lasts an hour and renews itself while the app is in use, for up to ninety days without use. Disconnecting ends it at once. The privacy policy says what underway keeps.
The filming still happens in underway
The chat is a remote control. Your episode is made where your camera is, and every link it gives you opens underway ready to go.
