the short version

if your plausible is connected to underway, the number of people who visited your site in the last 30 days is now a milestone. a hundred, a thousand, ten thousand, and on. when you cross one, today says so, your phone says so, and the next interview can ask what brought them.

it is also a goal you can set yourself, under nudges, or as the goal of a season. and every connection now wears its own logo, in its own colours, everywhere underway shows it: the connections page, the tray, the phone and the integrations page.

why visitors, and why 30 days

plausible already put a line in the tray when traffic moved on a given day. that answers what happened today. it does not answer the question a founder actually carries around, which is whether this thing is growing. one day is noise. a month is a shape.

thirty days is the window plausible itself leads with, and it is long enough that a single launch spike does not count as a milestone on its own. if a hundred people visited your site over a month, that is a hundred people, not a lucky afternoon.

the first reading after you connect is a baseline. if your site already has two thousand visitors a month, underway does not announce a hundred and a thousand as if they had just happened. only what you pass from here on is news.

what it looks like

  • 1,000 people visited your site in 30 days.
  • 10,000 people visited your site in 30 days.

the line arrives on today as noticed, with plausible's logo beside it, and in the tray's numbers tab for your next episode, unticked until you tick it. like every milestone, it is something the interview can ask about. it is never a hook the episode is cut around, and it never reaches the director's choices about what the episode is.

setting a goal

account, series settings, nudges: tick visitors to your site in 30 days and type the number you are aiming for. or open seasons and make it the season's goal: a thousand visitors a month might be exactly what season one is for. when the reading crosses it, today tells you, and suggests closing the season if it was the season's goal. it never closes one for you.

every connection, its own logo

until today a handful of connections showed a letter in a coloured square instead of their logo: slack, fireflies, whop and beehiiv. on the public integrations page, five showed grey text, and argos, which photographs your site every day, had no row at all. that is fixed. each one now shows its real mark, and argos has its row, with what it reads and what it never touches.

it sounds cosmetic. it is not quite. a tray line with the right logo beside it tells you where it came from at a glance, and a connections page that looks finished is one people trust with a key.

is plausible visitors a milestone in underway?

yes. with plausible connected, visitors to your site in the last 30 days are a milestone at 100, 1,000, 10,000 and up, and a goal you can set under nudges or as a season's goal.

does it count visitors i already had?

no. the first reading is a baseline, written quietly. only thresholds passed after that are announced.

does posthog do this too?

not yet. posthog counts events rather than visitors, so it stays a line in the tray.

is it on the phone?

the milestone arrives on the phone like any other, as a push and on today. goals are set on the web.

connect plausible once and a good month is something the interview knows about. see every connection.
