Clipping tools need a video. Underway just needs you to talk.
Most tools for founder content start from a video you have already made. Underway starts earlier. It asks you questions out loud, and turns your answers into a short finished video or podcast. Here is how it sits next to the other ways to get it done.
| Option | What it is | What you bring | What you get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Underway | An AI interviewer that makes your build in public content | A few minutes of talking. It asks you questions out loud, on camera, by voice or over your screen. | A short finished video or podcast episode with no editing. Posts for your accounts are written for you, and higher plans add Shorts and an article on each episode's page. |
| OpusClip | An AI clipping and editing tool | A long video you have already made, by link or upload. | Short clips cut from that video, which it can publish to your social accounts. |
| Descript | An AI video and audio editor you edit like a document | A recording, made in Descript or dropped in, and the time to edit it, yourself or with its AI. | Whatever you edit: a full video or podcast, clips, captions and exports for each platform. |
| A video editor | A person who edits your footage | Footage you have filmed, and a brief. | An edit made by hand, to your taste. |
| A content agency | A team that plans and makes content for you | Briefs, approvals, and time on calls or shoots. | Content planned and made by the team, across the channels you agree. |
| A ghostwriter | A writer who writes posts in your name | Your ideas and stories, told to them, and edits on their drafts. | Written posts in your voice. |
